Custodian
RFK Community Alliance has an opportunity for a full-time Custodian to join our facilities team in Lancaster A $2500 sign-on bonus is available!
Who We Seek:
We are looking for someone to help keep the premises of RFK Community Alliance clean and orderly. As a member of our facilities team, you help maintain the buildings on our Lancaster Campus and participate in our campus on-call system. Specific responsibilities include:
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
- Dust furniture and equipment. Polish metalwork
- Wash walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Wash windows, door panels, and sills
- Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area
- Replenish bathroom supplies
- Replace light bulbs
- Perform daily safety surveys to ensure no hazardous conditions exist
Shifts Available:
40 hours per week Monday – Friday
1:30pm-10pm
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license

$2,500 Sign-On Incentive
This position is eligible for the RFK Community Alliance Sign-On Incentive in the amount of $2,500 in your first year of employment. You will receive $500 after 3 months; $500 after 6 months; $1,500 after 12 months.
