8AM - 8PM  12 Hour Rotating Shift - Every other weekend off!

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for handling of raw materials and finished goods. This position will interface with the company computer ERP system and must be accurate & proficient in its use.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform order preparation and fulfillment requirements, order picking, verification, data entry, packing slip verification, bill of lading, load/unload as required and in compliance with SWI 755-01
  • Perform receiving requirements including load/unload, inspection of material condition, paperwork verification, computer entry & labeling as required and in compliance with SWI 755-02 
  • Interface with quality for incoming inspection based on product requirements 
  • Support production as required with kits or other material needs 
  • Arrange freight carriers as required 
  • Ensure strict compliance with First In First Out (FIFO) requirements 
  • Ensure materials are properly prepared to protect shipment from damage considering shipping method 
  • Clearinghouse verification and movements to & from storage compliance with SWI 755-03 
  • Interface with quality for customer & product requirements
  • Support internal Kanban requirements
  • Participate in cycle count and other inventory events as required 
  • Maintain valid Fork Truck license 
  • Maintain good housekeeping and safe warehousing practices 
  • Support & participate in achievement of departmental metrics and goals 
  • Regular attendance and professionalism 
  • Other duties as assigned.

ADA Requirements:

  • Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. 
  • Ability to work for extended periods sitting and looking at computer while completing repetitive motions to include substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. 
  • The worker is required to have visual acuity to operate fork lifts, power pallet jacks and scissor lifts 
  • Stooping, Reaching, Walking, Lifting, Talking, and Hearing. 
  • The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities that occur inside and outside.
