Mechanic II

Responsible for conducting preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. Conducting or assisting with required repairs on production or process equipment.

 

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct preventative maintenance on all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.

  • Troubleshooting and repairs within scope of knowledge on all electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
  • Able to use and read micrometers and bore gauges
  • Regular attendance and professionalism.
  • Properly execute all required paperwork, machine logs and computer data entry required to maintain business systems and traceability of work 
  • Maintain adequate stock of parts and supplies by communicating need to restock and following inventory management systems
  • All of Level 1 duties and responsibilities
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of maintenance mechanic experience in injection molding.
  • Must obtain and maintain powered pallet jack and overhead crane license
  • Technical training preferred.
  • Ability to read hydraulic, and pneumatic prints and diagrams.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English

 

ADA Requirements:

  • Bend, squat, climb, grasp, reach, lift or otherwise move frequently for extended periods 
  • Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. frequently, or more occasionally
  • Walk, stand or otherwise move about continuously
  • Exposure to machine shop physical hazards including chemicals which may require respiratory protection
  • Typically sits, grasps item and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
