The Town of Stow Council on Aging is seeking a dedicated Town Social Worker for a job share position with a guaranteed 4 hours per week, assisting residents with crisis intervention, advocacy, referrals, and social support. A master’s degree in social work or equivalent field is preferred. One to two years of related experience and a licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant programs is necessary. Starting salary for FY26 is $34.60/hour to $36.36/hour depending upon experience and licenses.
