This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team, manage critical infrastructure projects, and ensure the safety and well-being of our town's residents. The Town of Stow Department of Public Works is seeking a qualified candidate for full-time, 40 hours per week, to join our team in the Chief Crew. Must possess a High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with three to four years of road maintenance or related experience. Candidates must have and maintain a valid Class B CDL license, with a Class A CDL preferred. Additionally, a valid Class 2B Hoisting License is required, with a 2A Hoisting License preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of DPW equipment operation, construction, and maintenance procedures. They must also have the ability to perform heavy manual labor under varying weather conditions and follow detailed instructions. Starting salary for FY25 is $32.52/hour and for FY26 $33.50 /hour depending upon experience and licenses.
