Forge & Vine, located in the heart of Groton, Massachusetts, is seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Our restaurant celebrates the seasonal bounty of New England, blending regional ingredients with globally inspired techniques to deliver creative, approachable, and memorable dishes. With an open kitchen concept, impeccable hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation are essential.
Forge & Vine features a 156-seat dining room and seasonal outdoor patio overlooking scenic Gibbet Hill. As part of The Groton Inn property, our culinary team also supports continental breakfast daily, as well as lunch, dinner, and catered wedding and event functions.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute daily prep tasks with precision and efficiency
Set up and work a designated station each evening
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including walk-ins and storage
Uphold all sanitation and food safety standards as outlined by OSHA and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health
Perform basic maintenance and report any equipment issues to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members and management to ensure smooth service and kitchen flow
Consistently produce high-quality plates with attention to detail and timing
Participate in team discussions to help drive creativity and menu development
Support banquet and offsite events as needed
Qualifications:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a line or prep cook role
Previous experience in hotels, resorts, or upscale casual restaurants is a plus
Culinary school certification or formal apprenticeship is preferred but not required
Solid understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen operations
Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure

Pay Range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
Day, evening, and night shifts available
Weekend availability required
Monday to Friday shifts may be available
