SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Requisition ID: 1123

Home security sales position
American Alarm and Communications, Arlington, MA

Can you sell us first?

We have an exciting career opportunity for a person who knows how to sell from strength and integrity, putting the customer’s best interests first.

At American Alarm our only mission is to protect people, their homes, and businesses, with electronic security systems and 24-7 alarm monitoring. Everyone in our company contributes to that mission by doing their job effectively. The person we hire for this residential sales role will work at the beginning of our relationship with potential customers, designing and selling the proper security system to meets their needs.

Experience sought:  Of course, experience in the security or life safety systems industry is a plus, but it’s not required. We are looking for the best sales talent available. If you are a great communicator with demonstrated sales success, we want to talk to you. Then, if you get the job, our in-house team will train you on the amazing technologies and services we offer. So come on, sell us.

Compensation: We offer a competitive commission/salary program and profit sharing. We provide a comprehensive benefits program that includes medical, dental and vision insurance coverage; 401k plan with employer matching contributions; Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA); life insurance, supplemental life, and AD&D insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance; paid vacation, personal and holiday time.

Family business: American Alarm and Communications is a comprehensive security systems and life-safety integration and monitoring company. We’ve been at this for 52 years, still family-owned, and the first employee we hired is still with us. That tells you something about how we value people, and how our employees value working here.
