The Material Operations Senior Sampling Associate will perform activities in the Central Warehouse to include collection of samples, delivery of samples to labs, shipping/receiving of samples.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs raw material inspection and sampling.

  • Perform routine sampling in accordance with SOP’s, safety and cGMP guidelines.

  • Works on routine assignments per written procedures with little or no instruction.

  • Adheres to good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures, and material sampling instructions.

  • Maintains a safe work environment.

  • Completes GMP forms, creation of Material Sampling Instructions, updates SOP’s as required for material sampling purposes.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other groups and levels.

  • Coordinate receipt and offload cGMP bulk tankers.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of High school Diploma / GED required. Knowledge of science generally attained through studies resulting in a BS in the physical or life sciences, a related discipline, or the equivalent in related experience.

  • Preferred one year of experience working in a GMP warehouse.

  • Preferred knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods in a GMP environment.

  • Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques such as volumetric measurement, pipetting, analytical weighing and basic laboratory safety practices preferred.

  • Ability learn to drive forklifts up to 30’ (operator goes up with the load) and drive company box truck onsite (No CDL required).

  • Ability to learn relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective operations for the protection of people, data, and property.

  • Ability to learn standard computer-based business systems such as MS Office, MS Outlook, SAP, LIMS, Tableau and DeltaV.

  • A valid driver’s license is required.

  • Must have knowledge of the proper use and application of personal protection equipment (PPE) and wear when required.

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

  • Ability to gown and de-gown per SOP for working in clean rooms.

  • Ability to push and pull pallet jacks.
