Join Team Tara! TaraVista is seeking a Financial Counselor to join our team. This role is an opportunity to combine your financial and insurance expertise with meaningful work that supports patients and families accessing behavioral health care.

What You'll Do

• Help patients and families understand insurance coverage, financial responsibilities, and payment options.

• Assist with MassHealth and other insurance eligibility and enrollment processes.

• Work collaboratively with admissions, clinical, and billing teams to support a positive patient experience.

• Help coordinate financial arrangements and resolve insurance or payment-related questions.

• Maintain accurate financial documentation and support timely collections.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of relevant experience in healthcare financial counseling, insurance, or patient financial services.

• Knowledge of MassHealth, Medicaid, commercial insurance, and managed care.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• A compassionate, patient-centered approach.

• Ability to obtain MassHealth Financial Counselor Certification within 90 days.
