On December 5^th from 9AM -11AM the North Central Center will host a workshop for employers on using LinkedIn as a recruiting tool. Anastasia Bergman, Senior Human Resources Manager at HealthAlliance Hospital will demonstrate how to effectively use LinkedIn to find active and passive job candidates.
 
Some of the techniques include:
 
·        Building your company’s profile
·        Sharing job postings on your LinkedIn status line
·        Posting job listings in relevant LinkedIn groups
·        Using LinkedIn’s paid recruiting options
·        Browsing candidate’s profiles
 
The potential for social networking sites to play a major role in your recruiting strategy is increasing as millions of potential candidates profile themselves online.  This workshop will give you a hands-on look at how a local employer uses LinkedIn to maximize their recruiting efforts.
