About Our Speaker - Groton Police Chief, Donald Palma, Jr.
Donald Palma Jr. began his career as a police officer for the Town of Littleton in 1975. He then served with the Acton Police in a number of capacities including commander of special services and executive officer. In October 2007, Palma left the Acton Police as
Lieutenant accepting a promotion to Police Chief of the Groton Police Department. In addition to his duties as Chief, he is an instructor for the Municipal Police Training Committee, teaching at several police academies across the state in a number of subjects, mostly reserves and supervisory training programs.
