The Lawrence Barn | 28 Depot Road | Hollis NH
Join the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance and co-hosts, Freedom's Way and Hollis Historical Society, for a spectacular day of barn exploration in Hollis!
Enjoy the fall beauty of this thriving farming community as you drive past apple orchards, farm stands and hay fields in search of the seven historic barns on our tour. Whether you are a barn enthusiast or just appreciate the beauty of a rural community, this is a day not to be missed! The morning will kick off at the town owned Lawrence Barn with the inaugural presentation of "Interesting Features of NH Barns" by John Porter, co-author of Preserving Old Barns. Following John's talk, attendees can grab their pre-ordered lunches and tour booklets (with barn descriptions and map) and head out to explore the wonderful barns of Hollis. Barn experts will be present at each barn to answer questions and guide visitors. Proceeds of the tour will benefit barn preservation throughout New Hampshire.
