Picture This! Author & Illustrator Festival and Book Fair Brings Books, Creativity, and Community to Littleton

LITTLETON, MA — September 8, 2026 — Oak Meadow Montessori invites families from Littleton and surrounding communities to Picture This! Author & Illustrator Festival and Book Fair on Saturday, October 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This free, family-friendly event will celebrate the joy of reading and bring children and families together with authors, illustrators, books, and hands-on literacy experiences.

The festival will feature opportunities to meet and connect with accomplished authors and illustrators, including Phaea Crede and Suzy Becker. Guests can enjoy read-alouds and book signings, author and illustrator meet-and-greets, and live sketching and drawing demonstrations that offer a behind-the-scenes look at how stories and illustrations come to life.

Throughout the day, families can explore a Story-Trail Scavenger Hunt, take part in hands-on literacy activities, and browse the Silver Unicorn Book Fair to discover books for readers of all ages.

The event will also offer families an opportunity to experience the Oak Meadow Montessori community while enjoying live music and a food truck, making Picture This! a celebration that extends beyond books to creativity, connection, and community.
