Timothy Lau is the founder of Lau Legal Services PLLC, a Massachusetts law firm focused on tax controversy and taxpayer representation. He helps individuals and businesses navigate IRS and state tax matters, including audits, collections, penalties, tax notices, and other disputes with taxing authorities. Timothy previously worked in tax controversy and private wealth at a national accounting and advisory firm. He is admitted in Massachusetts and before the U.S. Tax Court. A U.S. Army veteran and native Mandarin Chinese speaker, Timothy believes complex tax problems should be explained in practical, understandable terms. He lives and works in the Westford area and is active in the local business community.
