The Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce proudly announces the appointment of Jose Banchs, owner of J&S Business Products in Ayer, as the new Chair of the Board of Directors. Banchs brings a wealth of business experience, community involvement, and a strong commitment to regional economic development.
Banchs has been a dedicated Chamber member for many years, actively engaging with the local business community and championing initiatives to support small business growth. His leadership at J&S Business Products and his deep understanding of the needs of local businesses make him a valuable asset to the Chamber’s mission.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Jose into this leadership role,” said Melissa Fetterhoff, President and CEO of the Nashoba Valley Chamber. “He’s a respected business leader with a collaborative spirit and a clear vision for the Chamber’s future. We look forward to the positive impact he will make as Chair.”
The Chamber also extends its sincere gratitude to Jamie Conaghan of Main Street Bank, who has served as Chair for the past term and remains on the Chamber’s Board. Jamie’s steady leadership and dedication helped guide the Chamber through key initiatives and continued growth.
“Jamie has been an incredible leader and advocate for our members,” added Fetterhoff. “Her professionalism and thoughtful approach have helped strengthen our organization, and we are grateful for her service.”
Joining the Board this year are two new members: Maedon Coburn of Appleseed Personnel Services and Steve Janes of Fuse Energy. Their energy, insight, and industry experience will be great additions to the Chamber’s leadership team.
They join returning board members who continue to play an essential role in guiding the Chamber’s mission, including: Mark Hillier of Gage Cannabis, Mike Coutu of Catania Oils, Charlie Nikopoulos of Nikopoulos Insurance Agency, and John Gervais of Gervais Ford.
As Chair, Banchs will work closely with Chamber staff and the Board to continue enhancing the region’s business climate, supporting entrepreneurs, and expanding opportunities for connection and collaboration.
