LUK, Inc. Mentoring Program Awarded National Quality Mentoring System Gold Partner

LUK, Inc. is proud to share that the organization’s Mentoring program was recently recognized as a National Quality Mentoring System (NQMS) Gold Partner.

The NQMS was developed by MENTOR, a network of organizations across the country that support quality mentoring relationships through resources, awareness, and advocacy. NQMS helps programs reflect and move towards evidence-based practices and procedures that are aligned with the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring (EEPM). It also evaluates programs’ ability to meet goals in order to continuously improve quality and enhance the impact of their work. This ongoing dedication to quality improvement propels the mentoring movement forward, paving the way for more meaningful connections that empower both youth and mentors.

LUK Mentoring was assessed by Mass Mentoring Partnership, an affiliate of MENTOR. The NQMS assessment can result in one of three badges: Bronze, Silver, or Gold. When LUK Mentoring completed their assessment, 93% of their practices were in alignment with the EEPM, earning them the top available Gold Badge.
