Devens, MA — September 11, 2025— Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts (NCM) is inviting the community to lace up… or not! The nonprofit will host the 0.0 Race — a fun “non-run” at Sterling Street Brewery — on Thursday, September 18, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
Unlike a traditional road race, the 0.0 Race requires no training, no running, and no finish line. Instead, participants will enjoy an evening of craft beer, live music, and community while raising vital funds to support Habitat NCM’s affordable housing build in Ayer.
Tickets are $30 per person and include:
- A commemorative Race Medal
- A 0.0 Bumper Sticker
- A Race Bib
- One Drink Ticket
- Live Music
“All proceeds from the event directly fuel our mission to build safe, decent, and affordable housing for families in need,” said Carolyn Read Executive Director at Habitat NCM. “This event is a fun way to bring people together for a great cause — and no one even has to break a sweat.”
Community members can also “go the extra mile” without breaking a sweat by becoming event sponsors.

Habitat NCM extends its gratitude to

About Habitat NCM
Habitat for Humanity North Central Massachusetts (NCM) offers a hand up, not a hand out, to hard-working, low-income families in central Massachusetts seeking affordable homeownership. Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat NCM builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses alongside our homeowner partner families. Habitat NCM also operates the Leominster ReStore, which raises funds through the sale of discounted or recycled materials and furniture to support Habitat’s mission of providing affordable housing.
