Applications open to Massachusetts high school seniors
Acton, MA — Discovery Museum today announced the 2026 Discovery Museum Scholarship program, created in 2022 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Museum’s founding. The program will award four one-time $1,500 scholarships to Massachusetts high school seniors who embody the mission and values of the Museum and are preparing for their next educational or developmental steps.
“More than 6 million kids and their families have come through our doors over the past four decades to learn about themselves, their abilities, and the world around them, guided by their own creativity and natural curiosity,” said CEO Marie Beam. “The Discovery Museum Scholarship celebrates young learners who reflect the Museum’s mission and values by supporting them on the next leg of their educational journeys—whatever that might be.”
All high school seniors residing in Massachusetts are eligible to apply. For one of the four scholarships, preference will be given to current or former Museum employees or volunteers. Scholarship funds may be used for any educational or developmental experience.
Applications—either written or video—are now being accepted via Google Form at https://bit.ly/DMScholarship2026. Applicants must be logged into a Google account to apply. All submissions must be received by March 15, 2026. Prior scholarship recipients are not eligible. Awardees will be notified in May.
