    Fitchburg Art Museum is North Worcester County's oldest and most treasured cultural institution, founded in 1925 through a bequest of artist and educator, Eleanor Norcross. 14 galleries house a diverse collection of American and European paintings, prints, drawings, ceramics and decorative arts as well as Greek, Roman, Asian and pre-Columbian antiquities. The Museum organizes temporary exhibitions of works from other museums, private collections, and emerging and established contemporary artists

    Rt. 2 west to exit 31B Rt. 12 north approx 4 miles. Right after the Central Shopping Plaza. Left on Main St & continue almost to the end. Right on Merriam Pkwy Museum is at the end on the right
