1st Shift QC Technician

Provide quality assurance support for raw materials, in-process mixes, and finished products as assigned. Conduct required analytical testing, inspection, communication, and documentation associated with assigned responsibilities. Work with both in-plant resources, and suppliers to effectively communicate and assure control of non-conforming materials. Ensures a safe, legal, sanitary and food safe working environment.
The Q.A. technician I, will be responsible for ensuring that all production is meeting legal and customer specifications. Also trained along with specific duties given by Q.A Lead on a daily basis.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
       

• Must have interpersonal, analytical, and statistical skills.
• Should have overall knowledge of production operations.
• Must be proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word & PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, and mathematics.
• Should have a combination of 2-3 years of related experience and/or training.
