Ski Lift Operator

The Ski Lift Operator is responsible for operating ski lifts and ensuring the safety of guests while they are using the lifts. The operator will be required to perform and document routine maintenance inspections on the lifts and report any issues to the maintenance team. The operator will also be responsible for assisting guests with loading and unloading the lifts, as well as providing information about the resort and ski conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate ski lifts in a safe and efficient manner
• Assist guests with loading and unloading the lifts
• Ensure the safety of guests while they are using the lifts
• Maintain a safe environment for guests using and staff working at ski lifts
• Provide information about the resort and ski conditions to guests
• Perform routine maintenance inspections on ski lifts
• Maintain accurate records pertaining to daily lift operations
• Report any issues with the lifts to the maintenance team

Requirements:

• Massachusetts law requires that ski lift operators be 18 yrs of age or older
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in outdoor conditions
• Ability to maintain accurate written records relevant to ski lift operations
