Ace Hardware, your local hardware store, is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team as After School Help. As part of our community-driven brand, you will have the opportunity to work in a delicious and enthusiastic environment while providing top-notch customer support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their hardware needs
- Provide excellent customer service
- Restock shelves and maintain store cleanliness
- Greeting customers when entering and leaving the premises
- Managing transactions using a cash register
- Balancing the cash register
- Scanning goods and ensuring pricing and quantities are accurate
- Accepting payments in cash, credit, or check
- Providing change and receipts
- Issuing coupons, vouchers, stamps, and gift cards
- Processing returns, refunds, and resolving customer complaints
- Bagging and wrapping purchased goods for safe transport
- Upselling and cross-selling when appropriate
Job Requirements:
- No formal education required
- Availability to work Monday to Friday with weekend availability
- Two to three shifts during the week (3:00-6:00) & one weekend day (Saturday 8-5:30 or Sunday 10:00-5:00)
