Position Summary
The Strategic Advertising & Sponsorship Specialist is responsible for growing BBB’s non-dues revenue through digital advertising and sponsorship sales. This role works directly with our pool of 2,200+ Accredited Businesses and community partners to develop customized advertising and sponsorship solutions that align with their business goals while leveraging BBB’s trusted brand and consumer audience. Advertising solutions may include web and search ads, TV ads, email marketing banners, billboards, program and event sponsorships, and more.
This position combines consultative sales, digital marketing strategy, account management, and client success. The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, tech-savvy, and motivated by helping businesses grow through ethical and effective marketing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
· Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual advertising and sponsorship revenue goals.
· Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through outreach, networking, referrals, and relationship-building activities.
· Achieve established client retention and renewal goals through proactive account management and client engagement.
· Identify and secure upsell and cross-sell opportunities that align with client goals and BBB offerings.
· Promote advertising and sponsorship opportunities in a manner consistent with BBB's mission, ethical standards, and commitment to marketplace trust.
· Consistently maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and sales activity records within CRM systems.

Work Environment & Schedule
· This position is based in Worcester, MA, with a primarily in-office schedule. Occasional remote work opportunities may be available at the discretion of the supervisor.
· Our office is open Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
· Occasional attendance at evening and weekend events, sponsorship activations, networking opportunities, and community engagement activities may be required.
· Limited local travel throughout BBB Central New England's service area may be required.
· As a non-exempt employee, all approved hours worked, including qualifying event attendance and compensable travel time, will be paid in accordance with applicable federal and state wage and hour laws and BBB policies.
