Acton Medical Associates P.C., a busy adult and pediatric primary care practice, is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist to join our team.

Our Radiology Technologists perform exams using ionizing radiation to produce high quality diagnostic studies. The rad tech also adheres to ALARA principles for radiation protection and performs related tasks such as coordinate day to day operations, assisting in quality assurance, and clerical tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of an education program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JCERT)
  • Minimum one-year experience in medical setting and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current certification by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health – Radiation Control Program.
  • Maintain all ARRT and State Continuing Education Requirements and CQR.
  • Maintain CPR basic life support

OR

  • Temporary State License - To qualify for a temporary RT license to practice in Massachusetts, you must have graduated from 2-year JRCERT or JRCNMT accredited program and be eligible to take the ARRT board exam and PASS the boards within 6 months per AMA (12 months per Mass.gov).
