Responsible for performing a variety of law enforcement duties, protecting life, property, and the civil rights of individuals. Works under supervision.

Townsend offers paid training, paid holidays, accrued vacation and sick leave, bereavement leave, and a yearly clothing allowance. Salary and vacation pay commensurate with experience. Officers work a 4 and 2 work schedule and there is a shift differential for second and third shifts.
