Cultivating a Respectful Workplace
Effectively responding to code of conduct, bullying,
and workplace violence issues
Event Sponsored by Holiday Inn Boxborough
According to a 2001 study conducted by the Workplace Bullying Institute, an estimated 65% of employees surveyed reported being bullied at some point in their careers.
Did you know? 27% of HR professionals have been victims of bullying (SHRM study, 2011).
Ignoring these behaviors can lead to an increase in sick leave, reduced productivity and morale, and possible “discrimination” complains. Through customized videos, real life case studies and role plays, participants will learn to identify and effectively respond to reports of “poor conduct” within the workplace.
This dynamic workshop will define a spectrum of problematic workplace conduct including unlawful conduct and offer pro-active organizational and policy solutions designed to create a respectful, accountable workplace environment. Training will focus on management “best practices” designed to minimize the risks and liability
associated with discriminatory harassment and retaliation claims in addition to fatal and non-fatal workplace and domestic violence incidents. Managers will walk away from this presentation with practical tools, including how to conduct effective internal investigations into claims of bullying and harassment.
