Reducing Personal Conflicts at Work
Effective communication to avoid and diffuse stress from workplace conflicts
Event Sponsored by Holiday Inn Boxborough
Nine out of ten people know that stress can cause health issues, but less than one out five have decreased their stress in the last year.
No surprise that work accounts for 70% of stress, and relationships account for 58% of stress. (American Psychological Association. Stress in America: Our Health at Risk. 2012)
Stress is in the workplace is primarily from interacting with other people—the boss, employees or clients. Lingering conflict at work can decrease productivity, employee
turnover and restrict daily operation and growth of your business.
This interactive workshop will identify why and what really happens when we get angry (i.e. why we say things in the heat of the moment); will explore more effective ways to communicate to diffuse tensions; and provide a simple, effective technique for better managing conflict. This hands-on instruction will help you begin to experience these strategies so you can start implementing them the next day. You will never see, hear or feel the same about how we communicate and disagree after this workshop.
