Author and expert forager Russ Cohen is back at Fruitlands to lead his Wild Edibles Walk. Join Russ, author of Wild Plants I have Known…and Eaten, on a two-hour, early evening ramble to encounter at least two dozen species of edible wild plants. Keys to the identification of each species will be provided, along with information on edible portions, seasons of availability and preparation methods. General guidelines for safe and environmentally-responsible foraging will be provided. Bring along a notebook and an adventurous appetite for this foraging foray at Fruitlands!
