* Who Goes There? Introduction to Animal Tracking for Families
Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Shepley Hills Conservation Area in Groton
Join us for this tracking workshop designed to introduce young children and their families to animal tracks and clues. Discover the secrets of our local winter wildlife with an adventurous hike through forests and along streams looking for signs of wildlife and imagining what takes place when we are not looking! The activity will be light to moderate, with some off trail walking. Please dress with multiple layers, winter boots, water resistant outer gear (snow pants or gators), pack water bottle & energy snack. The fee is: $8/person or $24/family for NRWA members; $10/person or $30/family for non-members. Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
