Westford Police Department Host National Take Back Day

The department will also participate in the Drug Enforcement Agency’s take back day, which provides opportunities for residents to safely dispose of old and unused medications.

Last October, 4,383 departments participated and disposed of nearly 600,000 pounds of prescription drugs.

The department will collect prescription drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 26 in the Westford Police Department lobby. Residents unable to dispose of unused medications on Saturday may use the department’s 24/7 drop-off kiosk.

The Westford Police Department is located at 53 Main St., next to Town Hall.
