PARENTS SUPPORT GROUP: The Westford Parents Support Group will meet on Tuesday Nov 12th at the Millennium School from 7-8:30 PM. This month the topic will been Teen Substance Use/Abuse in Westford.
Principal James Antonelli will speak about substance use trends at Westford Academy. Ray Peachy, the Health Department Substance Abuse Prevention Coordinator, will speak about what to signs to look for in our children,the consequences of teen substance use – both the obvious and things kids never think of. Information will be also be provided about when is treatment needed and appropriate. A local mother will share her story of her child’s substance use – the impact on her child, their family and what she has learned during her journey.
All are welcomed to this informative program.
