* Trick or Treating (Groton)

The Groton Police Department has announced that this year’s Trick or Treating hour are 6:00 — 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 31, 2011.

In a press release, Chief Donald Palma wrote:

We ask that you please follow these safety tips.

• Parents should accompany younger children.
• Wear reflective clothing.
• Carry flashlights and/or glow sticks.
• Use care when crossing and walking along the roadways.
• Parents should inspect all treat bags prior to allowing consumption.
