Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. NRWA River Resource Center, 592 Main Street (Rt. 119) in Groton
Where do river animals go in winter? Young scientists are invited to join us for this exploration of “Rivers and Water in Winter.” We’ll visit the Nashua River and look for answers to that question and more. We’ll do some indoor water experiments and figure out the physics of water. We’ll be investigating in both indoor and outdoor settings at the NRWA River Resource Center in Groton. Science Saturday costs $25. Pre-registration is required. To pre-register, please contact Mary Marro, NRWA Environmental Education Director, at (978) 448-0299, or email Mary.
