(ConcertoNet.com), and "bold, dynamic, magnificent" (NY Concert Review), Bulgarian pianist Tania Stavreva is renowned for her superior technical abilities, unlimited virtuosity, and demanding programs. This concerts works by Stavreva, Vladigerov, Cohn, Ginastera, Mompou, Stoyanov, and Chopin.
Stavreva made her Carnegie Hall debut in April 2009, and has performed at other leading venues in the U.S. and Europe. Recognized as one of the most versatile artists of her generation, she has played at rock clubs, developed multi-media shows, and collaborated with jazz musicians and body painting artists.
A graduate of the National Music School in Bulgaria and the Boston Conservatory, she has won multiple competitions, and served as piano faculty for several schools and music festivals in Boston and NYC.
