Paid Family Leave, Workplace Bullying, Pay Regulations, and Other Government-Created Barriers to Small Business Success

Small business is under attack once again. Beacon Hill legislators are considering several proposals that will have a serious impact on your small business. Learn about the legislation currently pending at the State House.

Current Legislative Threats to Small Business:

  • Paid family leave requiring all employers provide up to 26 weeks' paid time off in a calendar year to workers for their own illnesses
  • Potential “bullying” lawsuits due to worker reprimands or worker disputes that employers may be unaware are occur-ring in the workplace.
