Secrets of Snake Hill: Free Family Adventure Hike

Looking for a fun family adventure close to home while getting some exercise before the busy holiday
season begins?
On this naturalist-led hike, we'll explore the trails on Snake Hill, home to an unusual collection
of flora and fauna due to its unique soils and rocky terrain. We'll look for signs of wildlife like
bobcat, fox, and turkeys. Your guide will be Stacey Chilcoat, NRWA's River Classroom Director.
Moderate pace with some uphill rocky trails; best suited for ages 11 and older.
Hiking boots or shoes and water bottles recommended. For the comfort of all, no dogs are allowed.
Pre-registration is required; exact meeting location and directions will be provided upon
registration.
