Known for its clarity, rhythmic intensity, and musical elegance, Scott Dettra's playing has been described by The American Organist as “music making of absolute authority.” He serves as organist of Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas as well as for The Crossing, the multi-Grammy-winning chamber choir of Philadelphia. Mr. Dettra's performances have been broadcast on American Public Media’s Pipedreams and Performance Today, the BBC’s Choral Evensong, and New York Philharmonic's This Week.
