Ribbon Cutting at Apple Valley Center - 10/28/09

Join the Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce (NVCoC) as we hold a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Apple Valley Center at 400 Groton Road in Ayer, MA on Wednesday October 28, 2009. Apple Valley Center will be having an Open House from 5pm - 7pm, with the Ribbon Cutting at 5:30pm.

Apple Valley Center, a 123-bed Genesis HealthCareSM skilled nursing facility located in Ayer, MA, is opening a new Progression Transitional Care Unit

(TCU) for patients requiring post-acute rehabilitation and medical services related to an acute illness, injury or post-surgery. The Center also offers ShortStay, Rehabilitation, LongTerm, Specialized Dementia Care and Respite Care.

Apple Valley Center's 41-bed TCU will provide rehabilitation therapy and treatment after leaving the hospital but before returning home. It follows a patient-centered, outcome focused approach to treatment with the goal of helping patients recover and return to their prior living situation as quickly as possible.
