Opens Friday June 7 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Exhibitions runs through June 30
June 2013, Fitchburg, Mass. – Revival Gallery is a new exhibition space in downtown Fitchburg showcasing local art at the forefront of today's cultural discussion. The upcoming exhibition will feature an eclectic display of work by some of the most distinguished artists from the region, including Tim Legros, C.M. Judge, Ed Collier, Jerry Beck, Casey Taylor, and more.
The works to be featured in the upcoming exhibition bring to life themes of working-class struggle, inner peace, and education through their use of various media, including painting, drawing, photography, video still, and mixed media art. Pieces range from deeply personal expressions to more general statements about the current state of world affairs, but no matter how specific or broad each one may be, they all succeed equally in their ability to command attention and instigate discussion.
This will be the second exhibition put on by Revival Gallery, and is being ushered in with an opening night affair full of live music, refreshments, and conversation on Friday, June 7th, from 6 to 9 p.m. The exhibit is free, open to all ages, and will remain up for the entire month of June, so be sure to come down and check out some exciting contemporary works of art by a wide array of active local artists.
