Based on STOTT PILATESĀ® modern core exercise principles, is designed to strengthen core muscles, improve posture and alignment, restore the natural curves of the spine and re-balance the muscles around the joints. Through teaching awareness of one?s body, students learn to maximize physical output without sustaining injury. Modifications allow the technique to be appropriate for many different body types and abilities, making it applicable to individuals with adaptive needs, sport-specific training and everyday life. This class is offered in sessions only (no drop ins) because each class builds upon the techniques learned in the previous classes.
