The Pepperell and Townsend Business Associations are holding a joint meeting
on Tuesday, October 8th at the Pepperell Senior Center, 37 Nashua Road in
Pepperell. The guest speaker will be Massachusetts State Treasurer Steven
Grossman.
The Treasurer will discuss the Small Business Banking Partnership
he launched in 2011, an initiative that invests state reserve funds into
Massachusetts community banks to make new loans to small creditworthy
businesses. Coming from a family-owned small business, the
Treasurer believes boosting small businesses is the key to creating
jobs and helping the economy grow.
Please join us for appetizers at 6:30pm and a vibrant talk from the Treasurer
starting at 7pm. Seating is limited to the first 200 attendees. Please be early to
secure a seat.
