The Town of Ayer received a grant from the Massachusetts Clean Energy
Center to study the feasibility of treating wastewater biosolids and other
organic solid waste in a process that will generate electrical energy and
heat and resulting in a manageable byproduct that can be used as fertilizer
or compost.

The DPW and our consulting engineers, CDM-Smith have completed the
feasibility study and would like to present the conclusions and
recommendations to the public.
