This two-day workshop will explore how to use local documents, artifacts, landscapes and the rich expertise in every town to examine historical issues with a national focus.

Open to teachers, librarians, archivists, members of local historical societies, and all history enthusiasts, the sessions will focus on the period just after the Revolution and the experiences and expectations of people living at a time of great uncertainty and possibility.  

FEE: $25 to cover lunches both days.  Program and material costs have been generously funded by the Saltonstall Foundation.
