This session will address the problem of having an ambiguous, non-existent, or unofficial board development & recruitment plan by outlining 10 steps and tactics to making board development not only a priority but also a true, consistent, and intentional program. This will help to provide a tangible framework that can be easily implemented with the appropriate levels of intentionality by organizations and their leaders. By utilizing a rubric, participants will also be able to identify and learn their organization’s score in board development effectiveness.
This session will be very interactive as we will be conducting both large and small group activities. We will also utilize interactive software that will allow us to have live real-time data sharing and feedback from participants.

He specializes in board development, strategic planning, leadership skills, and organizational effectiveness. Eddrick holds a Master's in Nonprofit Administration and a bachelor's degree in public policy/political science.
