Sunday, September 23, from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Pine Meadow Conservation Area in Ayer, MA
This will be the second in NRWA's series of eleven free guided hikes in eleven different communities, part of NRWA's Outdoor Wellness Walking Program. The goal of the hiking series is to introduce people to properties in their area where they can walk for exercise. Our walk at the Pine Meadow Conservation Area will be led by Al Futterman, NRWA's Land Programs Director. Al will be providing "naturalist observations" about what can be seen at Pine Meadow. The trail has been selected for level grade and ease of walking for general public. We'll walk for approximately one hour long and cover roughly one mile. For the comfort of all, no dogs please.
This hike is free and open to the public, funded in part by a grant from the Nashoba Valley Community Healthcare Fund. Pre-registration for these hikes is encouraged for planning purposes. To register, or for more information including directions to the trailhead, please contact Al Futterman, NRWA Land Programs Director, at (978) 448-0299, or email Al .
