A Bear Affair: An Afternoon Adventure for young bear lovers and their families: Join Nashua River Watershed Association naturalists for "A Bear Affair" from 1:30 to 3 p.m., in Groton. We'll look for bear clues in the woods and learn all about bears and their amazing adaptations using skins, skulls and tracks. We'll share a "beary" snack and you'll make your very own bear track to take home. Teddy bears welcome! This program is appropriate for ages 4 to 10 years and their families; backpack babies welcome! Fee: NRWA members $6/person or $18/family; nonmembers $8/person or $24/family. Pre-registration is required. To register, please contact Stacey Chilcoat at 978-448-0299, or emailStaceyC@NashuaRiverWatershed.org. The NRWA is a non-profit environmental organization that depends on memberships for support.
