Nashoba Valley Medical Center is pleased to announce that the Sixth Annual Ladies Night Out is scheduled for Wednesday, November 14th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Devens Common Center with special guest Mary Richardson.
Mary Richardson was co-anchor of WCVB-TV’s Chronicle, the nation’s longest running locally produced nightly newsmagazine. Richardson’s work on Chronicle, which had been previously syndicated nationally on the Arts and Entertainment Cable Network and on other cable stations, had taken her from “The Main Streets and Back Roads of New England” to her ancestral Ireland, the Great Wall of China and Castro’s Cuba.
Richardson joined WCVB in 1980 as a news reporter and anchor. She also served four years as the host of Five on Five, formerly a WCVB weekly public affairs series.
Richardson is currently the Community Liaison for Steward Health Care System, the parent company of Nashoba Valley Medical Center. In this role, she provides a bridge between the hospitals and the communities Steward serves. Richardson will kick off the evening with a short presentation at 6:30p.m.
“Nashoba Valley Medical Center is thrilled to have Mary Richardson as a special guest at our Ladies Night Out,” said hospital president, Steve Roach. “Ladies Night Out has always been a very popular and well received community event, but having Mary attend and actively participate brings it to a whole new level.”
In addition to Mary Richardson, this year’s event will offer a wide variety of wellness tips, beauty advice, healthy living ideas, shopping, and lots of pampering.
