* NASHOBA TECH: Career Night and Open House

Nashoba Valley Technical High School will host its annual Career Night and Open House on Wednesday, May 8, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Career Night is a chance for incoming and prospective eighth-graders and their families, as well as ninth-grade and 10th-grade transfer students and recent high-school postgraduates to see what Nashoba Tech has to offer, including its 20 technical programs, rigorous academics that include college-prep and Advanced Placement courses, and award-winning activities and athletics.

Technical programs offered include: Advanced Manufacturing; Automotive Collision Repair & Refinishing; Automotive Technology; Biotechnology; Carpentry; Cosmetology; Culinary Arts; Dental Assisting; Design & Visual Communications; Early Childhood; Electrical Technology; Engineering Technology; Health Assisting; Hospitality Management; Marketing; Plumbing & Heating; Programming & Web Development; Robotics & Automation; TV & Media Production/Theatre Arts; and Veterinary Assisting.
