New England – America’s Newest Trans-Pacific Gateway
Wednesday, March 14 at 2:00 p.m.
Presented by:Shoko Hirao, Global Consulting – Japanese Marketing Representative for Massachusetts
In April 2012, Japan Airlines (JAL) in partnership with American Airlines will inaugurate a new non-stop flight from Tokyo to Boston. This will be the first ever non-stop service between Japan and Boston’s Logan Airport. Many Japanese tour operators will be planning additional group and FIT tours to New England in conjunction with the new service. If you are interested in getting your attraction, hotel, property or region more involved in marketing to Japanese travelers – then you shouldn’t miss this webinar. It will provide a “Japanese Market 101” – with information on everything from cultural norms and protocol in Japan to the differences between Japanese and American travelers – and how to work with receptive operators, tour operators and the airlines. Learn how you can benefit from working with the Japanese market and the exciting opportunities ahead in 2012 and beyond.
This webinar is aimed at the tourism industry and provided by the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism. There is no charge for participation.
