Andrews has been called the "Michelangelo" of modern mosaic iconography, and presented a sold-out program at the Museum in July 2015, in which he described his creative process and showed a film featuring his "Pantocrator" icon in the dome of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in San Francisco. Another of his masterworks - 40 years in the making - is Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church in Lowell, MA, whose sanctuary is adorned floor-to-ceiling with his stunning mosaic icons. Mr. Andrews will personally lead this tour, giving participants an up-close look at his sacred art, as well as a glimpse into the heart, mind and faith of the artist himself.
